Luis Valladares received the B.S. degrees in Physics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago, and his M.S. degrees in Physics from the Universidad Austral de Chile, Valdivia. His main interest are the astronomy, general physics and outreach activities. He has worked in the University of Chile and in several schools teaching natural sciences to children and young. He has been a reviewer of official educational texts of the Ministry of Education of Chile. He worked with the Museo Interactivo MIM, at Santiago, Chile, an outstanding initiative on the diffusion of science and knowledge. He is a Navy Captain Sport.
