José Luis Giordano

José Luis Giordano is an experimental physicist born in Luján (Argentina) in March 7, 1956, working in Applied Magnetism, Superconductivity and Practical Physics. He received a Technical Degree from the Instituto Superior de Electrónica (Buenos Aires, Arg.) in 1978 and a Balseiro Institute Scholarship from the Argentine Atomic Energy National Commission (CNEA) in 1982. He received his professional degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1986, doing his M.Sc. Thesis in Applied Magnetism and Magnetometry at the Bariloche Atomic Center (CAB-CNEA). He received the Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 1998, doing his Ph.D.

Thesis in Applied Superconductivity and Magnetometry. Since 1999, he is Associate Professor of University of Talca (UT), Chile, and Instructor of Electromagnetism and Materials Sci. & Eng. courses at the Engineering Faculty. He is Instructor in the Electromagnetism course of the Ph.D. Program in Applied Sciences of the UT, Principal Investigator of the Grant 31090010 of the ALMA Fund for the Development of Chilean Astronomy, and Associate Researcher of the Center for Research and Applications in Plasma Physics and Pulsed Power (P4) of the Nuclear Chilean Energy Commission (CCHEN) and UT.
